Visiting the site

We measure visits with PostHog in cookieless mode. No cookies or stored identifiers are set in your browser, and IP addresses are anonymized. We record which pages and locks are viewed and which links are followed, never what you type in the search box.

The daily text report

• What we keep. Your mobile number, the lock and time you chose, and a record of your consent: the exact consent wording, when you gave it, the page, your IP address and browser, and any YES, STOP, START or HELP reply. If you later add a name or email, we keep those too.
• Why. To send the report you asked for, to honour STOP immediately, and to show that you agreed to receive it.
• No sharing. We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
• Service providers. Messages are sent through Twilio, which processes your number only to deliver them.
• Deletion. Text STOP to stop all messages. To delete your record, email support@oilpriceapi.com; we keep only the minimum needed to prove consent and honour your opt-out.

Chrome extension and AI connectors

The Lock Wait Chrome extension keeps your watch list in your browser and sends anonymous usage events under a random install ID. The MCP connector records which tool was called and how long it took, not what you asked.
